Special Guests Throughout Western Canada Join 10th Anniversary of Kelowna Fan Experience, July 14-16

Kelowna, BC: Kelowna Fan Experience (KFX) hosts its 10th event mid-July and holds the title as the first and longest running Pop Culture festival in the Okanagan and brings special guests from Victoria, Calgary, Metro Vancouver, and Kamloops. Attendees will be transported to a world of superheroes, film, comics, manga/anime, Sci-Fi, fantasy, horror, gaming, performance, and more. The Rotary Centre For The Arts, Kelowna Community Theatre, Black Box Theatre and the Okanagan Regional Library Downtown play host to this unique festival.

KFX offers a diverse range of activities suitable for individuals of all ages throughout the three-day event. Charlie Ross will perform One Man Avengers on Friday night! Enjoy a Panel with Director, Writer, and Actress, whose credits include Angry Birds: Summer Madness, and Supernatural Academy: Gigi Saul Guerrero. Attend late night celebrations like the Dollhouse Disco: “Come on Barbie, Let’s Go Party” Party on Friday night, decorated by the team at Perspective Event Design

Attendees that dress up can win prizes at one of three cosplay competitions, one of KFX’s most popular events! This year’s judges include Kristicles (who also appears as a panelist), Ethereal Ashie, and Cap! No matter someone’s experience or age, there’s a spot for everyone.

Other performances include Kamloops’ Freudian Slips, joining KFX for D&D Improv. From Penticton, Peach Gravy Improv pops in for an evening. Marc Dermott and Karly Fiddes from Virgin Radio proudly host the Lip Sync Battle. John Delaney, boasting an impressive 30+ year career as an artist with DC, MGM, and “the Simpsons” also sits in for a signing of exclusive 2023 Collector’s Posters. The Black Box Theatre additionally plays host to Bonnie Gratz’s In One Night.

The Kelowna Community Theatre lobby plays host to a variety of artist vendors and exhibitors including the team at Empire Movie Props and the Outer Rim Garrison of the 501st Legion. Kelowna Xperience VR also joins the roster, along with several business vendors from the community. Additionally, Saturday night plays host to KFX’s annual “Glow Party” full of neon, music, and glowsticks.
